How to Use
How to Use
- Scoop & Load
Add 1 full scoop (approximately 1 tablespoon) of Greenmaid™ Laundry Detergent directly into the drum or detergent compartment. For large or heavily soiled loads, use 1.5 to 2 scoops. - Wash as Usual
Select your desired wash cycle. Our formula is safe for all machines, including high-efficiency (HE) washers, and works well in both hot and cold water. - Enjoy a Toxin-Free Clean
Your clothes will come out fresh, soft, and clean—without the residue left behind by conventional detergents.
Pro Tip:
For extra brightening, soak whites or gym clothes in warm water with 1 scoop of detergent for 30 minutes before washing. This helps lift stains and revive dull fabrics naturally.

The Biology Story
Microbes built to keep working.
Bacillus is a class of beneficial microbes used for decades in commercial wastewater, septic systems, and food-service facility cleaning — the places where biology has to work harder than chemistry. We scaled the same category of cultures down for residential floors.
The microbes activate on contact with moisture and organic matter, producing the enzymes that digest the proteins, starches, fats, and oils embedded in tile, grout, and porous surfaces. Then — unlike surfactants — they keep working. For days, not minutes.
That's why grout lines brighten over time instead of greying. Why high-traffic entryways stop holding onto buildup. Why the same floor feels a little cleaner every week you use it.
Everything in the bottle. Explained.
7 ingredients. Each one chosen for a specific purpose. No bleach, no quats, no synthetic fragrance, no phosphates, no ingredients we can't explain.
Bioactive Microbial Blend
The star ingredient
Live Bacillus microbes — the same category of cultures used in commercial wastewater and food-service facility cleaning. Activates on contact, produces enzymes that digest organic soils, and keeps working for days after the mop dries.
Nonionic Surfactant
The wetting agent
An EPA Safer Choice-approved biodegradable surfactant. Lets water penetrate dirt and porous surfaces, giving the microbes the surface activity they need without the environmental persistence of conventional chemistry.
Sodium Gluconate
Hard water support
A naturally derived chelator that handles hard water mineral content without a separate rinse aid. Binds calcium and magnesium so BioFlōr performs the same on city water or well water.
Sodium Citrate
pH buffer
Derived from citric acid, sodium citrate gently buffers the formula's pH so the live Bacillus stays stable in the bottle and active on the surface. Also helps soften water.
Citric Acid
Mineral lifter
A natural mineral chelator from citrus that helps lift hard water deposits without the harshness of acid-based cleaners. Works alongside sodium gluconate for hard water performance.
Glycerin
Plant-derived humectant
A plant-derived humectant that keeps the formula stable through long shelf storage and helps the microbes survive in the bottle. Biodegradable and drain-safe.
Water
The carrier
Purified water serves as the carrier that lets the microbial blend and surfactant disperse evenly across surfaces. Nothing added. Nothing chemical.
Frequently Asked Questions
What people ask before they buy.
Q: Is BioFlōr safe for pets and kids?
Q: Is BioFlōr safe for pets and kids?
A: Yes. BioFlōr is fragrance-free, formulated without phosphates or persistent environmental contaminants, and uses a bio-based surfactant system. As with any concentrate, keep out of reach of children and allow surfaces to dry before reintroducing pets and kids.
Q: Do I really not need to rinse?
Q: Do I really not need to rinse?
A: No rinse required. BioFlōr is formulated to clean without leaving a film or coating. The short ingredient list and low-foam chemistry let the surface dry clean — no residue, no slick spots, no post-mop haze. The microbes continue their work on the surface after it dries, by design.
Q: Can I use it on hardwood floors?
Q: Can I use it on hardwood floors?
A: If your hardwood is finished with a water-resistant sealant (polyurethane or similar), yes — apply with a damp mop rather than a wet one. For unfinished or oil-finished hardwood, spot-test a small area first. When in doubt, start with light dilution (1 oz per gallon) and a barely-damp mop.
Q: Can I mix it with bleach or disinfectants?
Q: Can I mix it with bleach or disinfectants?
A: No. Bleach and quaternary ammonium (quat) disinfectants deactivate the live Bacillus cultures that give BioFlōr its performance. If your cleaning protocol includes a bleach or quat step, run BioFlōr separately — never in the same bucket, bottle, or mop head.
Q: Is it safe for septic systems?
Q: Is it safe for septic systems?
A: Yes. Bacillus-based formulas are used extensively in commercial septic and wastewater treatment because they support — rather than disrupt — the microbial processes that keep those systems functioning. BioFlōr is built on the same category of technology, scaled down for residential use.
Q: Does it work in hard water?
Q: Does it work in hard water?
A: Yes. Sodium gluconate is built into the formula specifically to handle hard water mineral content, so no separate rinse aid or mineral-remover is needed. For exceptionally hard well water, use slightly more concentrate for extra performance without affecting the microbes.
Q: How should I store it, and how long does it last?
Q: How should I store it, and how long does it last?
A: Store in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly closed. Shelf life is 12–18 months from manufacture. Avoid freezing or prolonged heat exposure — both can affect the live Bacillus cultures. Pre-mixed diluted solution is best used within 24 hours for maximum microbial activity.
Q: Where is BioFlōr made?
Q: Where is BioFlōr made?
A: BioFlōr is manufactured in Cape Coral, Florida, by Alpinia Labs — Nobiesse's parent company. It's part of the Biōm Collection, our family of microbiome-conscious home products. Family-owned and made in the USA since 2013.
